Finally finished editing my video of a Bobcat in Carlton County in northern Minnesota. See the previous post for photos from this once-in-a-lifetime encounter at a friend’s cabin. I said it before, and I’ll say it again…truly a beautiful cat! Enjoy!

I am invisible! At least when I’m in the floating blind. Without it, I would never have been able to watch this female Belted Kingfisher hunt for about 20 minutes at extremely close range. And she was very successful! But a Red-winged Blackbird landed quite close. I tried doing some 8K video but that was boring and then I thought this might make a good high key image since the sky was bright and I was looking up from water level. I think it worked.
